Introducing The Beauty Lab
We’re a few weeks into the New Year and here’s what I’ve been learning:
I can easily get lost in trying to craft a “perfect” plan.
I think a well-planned strategy can save me from being ignored, rejected and judged.
I’m not saying it’s not good to make plans (Lord knows I love a mind-map and well thought out to-do list) but continuing to delay plans in order to make them more “fail-proof” is most likely fear parading as perfectionism.
So, I’m pulling a Taylor Swift (kind of.) I’m taking all my months of thinking, creating and planning ideas and springing them on you with no warning (you’re welcome!)
Because the truth is I have everything I need inside me to move forward on my path (and so do you!) I truly believe that.
And sometimes (as in my case this week) I’m going to let go of the need for perfected plans in order to serve, heal and share what’s been put inside of me...to open up The Beauty Lab and start teaching, start holding space, start building community.

Since I left home in 2007 and moved from SC to Los Angeles to Nashville, I have been studying, growing and having experiences that have taught me how to care for myself deeply and to uncover the beauty the Divine placed in me.
I didn’t have a roadmap for this journey, but I just kept following my intuition from experience to experience, book to book, teacher to teacher, therapist to therapist, community to community.
And what I’ve come to realize is that learning how to be a witness for myself and care for myself is the scaffolding that has enabled me to stop hiding and express myself and my beauty through things like writing, singing, painting, my clothes, makeup, etc.
I’ve learned (and am still learning) how to stop looking at myself through the eyes of others and to see myself through the eyes of Love that created me.
I’ve let that Love feed my soul and tell me the truth about who I am and what I have to offer, what gifts I have to share. I believe The Beauty Lab is one of those gifts.
Thank you for taking the time to hear my heart behind The Beauty Lab.
To officially kick things off, I’m hosting a quick LIVE happy hour toast and Q+A TODAY at 4:30pmCST on Zoom (www.revelerbeauty.com/live)

If you can’t make it live, but have ideas or questions you’d like to see answered just hit reply and let me know what they are!
Doors to the Lab will officially open next Tuesday, 1/26 with a workshop on how to look your best on camera (aka all those Zoom meetings! )
For the next 2 weeks all 4 of the workshops I’m offering will be FREE so sign up at www.revelerbeauty.com/thebeautylab and spread the word!
Thank you again for your support! I’m so grateful to be a witness to the beauty you’re putting into the world.
